Crème d'Argent

from $40.00

Crème d’Argents are generally docile and curious. They are known for having more spirit and personality compared to many larger meat breeds.

Originally developed in France in the 1800s, Crème d’Argents were imported into the United States before 1924. After their arrival, they were crossed with breeds such as the golden Palomino to produce the larger meat rabbit recognized by ARBA today.

This breed is distinguished by its unique coat color. When brushed from back to front, the creamy outer fur reveals a bright orange under color. Crème d’Argents are considered a versatile breed, well-suited for homesteading due to their high meat-to-bone ratio and desirable pelts.
